Client Details

Pharmacare Operations is the manufacturing division of Pharmacare Laboratories. Established in 2017 boasting a purpose-built facility, cutting edge technology and equipment; the business has  exciting  years ahead. 100% Australian owned and managed the business delivers to some 5200 pharmacies and 3000 supermarkets across ANZ with plans to increase their manufactured range and Asian export activities in the years ahead.  Pharmacare currently produces Gummies under the instantly recognisable Nature’s Way brand from its Prestons base and is looking for a Senior Quality and Technical Manager.

Description 

The Senior Quality and Technical Manager will report directly to the General Manager and be responsible for the Quality, technical and validation functions on site. Specifically, the role holder will:
  • Manage all compliance, non-conformance and systems activities for the site via 5 reports including Quality & Training Manager, QA Officers, Validation Engineer and Technical Officer
  • Manage, utilise and develop quality systems and maintain all TGA accreditation
  • Lead and implement all CAPA and non-conformance activities
  • Develop and mentor the team; identifying areas for improvement and developing programs to raise skill levels.
  • Foster first class relationships across the business including with the Warriewood head office
You will drive a world class function through your keen eye for detail, hands on approach to management and engagement with best class practices within Pharmaceutical manufacturing. 

Profile

To be successful in applying for this role you will hold the below skills and experiences:
  • Demonstrated experience in a TGA/ GMP environment (pharmaceuticals) as a Quality and Technical Leader
  • Exposure to GMP and a demonstrated understanding of it from a quality and technical perspective
  • Team leadership/ management experience across technical and quality alongside change management experience in a medium sized manufacturer
  • A Degree in a scientific or related subject
