Apply: Finance Manager (Financial Control/Business Partnering)

My client is a leading Investment Manager providing investment solutions to clients across a range of capabilities including infrastructure & renewable energy, real estate, equities, fixed income, and multi-asset solutions.

A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen within the global Financial Control team for a high performing Finance Manager. You will support both senior business stakeholders and the global CFO with a broad range of financial control and balance sheet related matters. In particular there will be a focus on the structuring of new products and transactions, as well as business acquisitions and disposals.

You will have oversight of the general ledger balances for a number of sub-groups across the business. You will partner with the business in collaboration with other teams across finance on new business products and projects and identify opportunities for additional operational or balance sheet efficiencies. You will also provide key accounting judgements and valuation considerations when required.

You will use your strong relationship building skills to engage with a variety of key stakeholders including Product Owners, Funding, Group Finance, Risk Management, Tax and External Auditors.

Due to the high level of stakeholder interaction (both internal and external) the successful candidate must be confident, articulate and demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.  Your experience and key skills will include:

• CA/CPA qualified
• 5 - 8 years experience with demonstrated financial control experience gained in a large, complex orgsanisation
• Experience in Financial Services is highly advantageous including current or previous Big 4 Chartered Accounting experience
• Asset Management / Investment Management industry highly regarded
• Strong excel skills, coupled with excellent attention to detail and outstanding time management skills
