The Role:

Maxima, and our Host Employer, are looking for a committed individual to undertake an entry-level Business Traineeship working as a Receptionist.

As the Receptionist you will be the first point of contact for clients and responsible for providing a personal, friendly service in an efficient manner.

Throughout this 18-month fulltime traineeship you will receive on-the-job training and support by working alongside experienced supervisors and study online towards a nationally recognised Certificate III in Business.

Duties Include: 

• Provide efficient, friendly and professional customer service both in person and over the phone
• Handle incoming calls and emails and direct them appropriately
• Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing and scanning
• Maintain a clean and organised reception area
• Use accounting software to create and process invoices
• Additional duties including mail and general office housekeeping

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Punctual and reliable
• Showcase initiative and problem-solving skills
• Strong work ethic with a customer service focus

Role Requirements:

• Drivers licence and car
• Excellent phone manner
• Professional presentation
• High level literacy and math skills
• Strong computer knowledge including Microsoft Office
• Previous customer service experience (advantageous)
