This highly successful business located in the Bankstown area is seeking an experience Purchasing / Administration Officer to join their highly motivated team. Given the demand and nature of the position Electrical knowledge and/or experience is highly desired however not essential.
This role encourages commitment to the team and the ability to use your initiative. Working Monday – Friday 8.30am-4.30pm you are also entitled to
12 RDO’s annually.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:
Project quotations - from deciphering the project schedule, issuing quote requests to appropriate suppliers, co-ordinating responses and review quotations prior to completing a full project quotation.
Provide technical support
Process sales and purchase orders
Liaise with site teams on current orders, backorders, delays and improvements
Manage the Inventory for business, including credits, returns to suppliers and related issues with stock control.
Preparation and control of yearly stocktake, including cycle counts, reporting, preparation of all stocktake documentation and final analysis of stocktake results.
Working alongside Warehouse staff on a day to day basis
Updating of pricing and liaising with internal and external staff
Entering and monitoring the daily invoices, along with reviewing and investigating any issues relating to incorrect pricing and charges.
Ad hoc duties were required
In order for you to be successful you must have the following:
Proven previous experience within a similar position
Electrical experience highly desired
Ability to work autonomously and within a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of MS Office including advanced Excel
Previous use of an ERP such as SAP, Sage 300 ACPAC or similar Company database
Proven Negotiation skills
Current NSW Driver’s License and own vehicle essential
