We’re seeking an experienced Document Controller (Projects) to join a major government infrastructure program based on the Gold Coast.

About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining efficient document control systems that support project delivery, compliance, and performance. Working closely with project teams and contractors, you’ll play a key part in ensuring accurate and accessible information management across large-scale transport infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain document control systems aligned with project and departmental requirements
  • Manage filing conventions and record management systems
  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders on document control processes
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on records and systems usage
  • Maintain accurate data in Document Management Systems (DMS)
  • Support the project team through reporting, compliance, and team meetings

About You
  • Proven experience in document control within infrastructure or government projects
  • Strong understanding of project deed obligations related to document management
  • Skilled in electronic document and record management systems (e.g., DMS)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Adaptable, proactive, and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Current C-class driver's licence
  • Ability to pass a criminal history screening
