Our client, an immunology startup biotech with presences in San Diego, Shanghai and Beijing, has vacancy for a Biology Head to be based in Beijing or San Diego. As part of the Executive Committee Team, apart from providing leadership to the existing team (~20 scientists based in Beijing), you will be involved in strategic decision making of the company’s programs and pipelines.

To be successful in this role, you will hold a PhD in biology related disciplines (e.g. molecular biology, cellular biology, biochemistry) with extensive exposure in drug discovery from pharma/biotech industry, well-versed in target identification to validation, through to preclinical translation in the disease domain of oncology / immunology / inflammation.
