Generalist across Asia regional coverage

Responsibilities:

Be involved in the origination and execution effort of the advisory team, with an initial focus on M&A
Key deal team leader for buyside and sellside M&A transactions from start to end, dealing directly with the client’s deal team and making sure timelines are met and deliverables are of high quality
Work with the team to prepare presentations for origination purposes/ client meetings and liaise with internal control functions to ensure appropriate risk management
Build/ Review detailed financial models to evaluate performance under various operating scenarios and to analyze the impacts of different capital structures and potential financing, debt capital markets or M&A transactions
Create own client network by developing strong working relationships with clients, stay up-to-date with knowledge on industry trends and targets
Coordinate efforts with deal team members across the bank, internal and external stakeholders

Profile of Ideal Candidate:

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
7-10 years of relevant experience in Investment banking / IBD/ Corporate Finance advisory/ M&A/ Big 4 / Buyside/ Private equity
Ability to perform under pressure and thrive in a high intensity environment
Team player, family culture
Strong work ethics and excellent learning / work attitude, independent and can perform without much supervision
Detail oriented with good financial analysis skills
Superior analytical aptitude, creative problem solving abilities and excellent communication skills
Analytical and numerate with basic accounting and finance knowledge
Strong problem solving skills
