Our client is a leading national firm with a growing demand in the property & projects space. A need has arisen for a Lawyer/Associate with 2-4 PAE in Environment & Planning to work closely with a specialist Partner on environment, planning, natural resources & development work. The role will involve a split of front-end advisory & contentious court/appeals work including:
  • Acting for a range of public & private clients, including government agencies in NSW but also in the UK;
  • Cutting-edge advisory work involving major projects, waste regulation, contamination, environmental risk & regulation; and
  • Attending development appeals, Judicial review proceedings & attending prosecutions in the Land & Environmental Court.
This role would suit a career driven junior to mid-level Environment & Planning lawyer/Associate who is passionate about this work & looking to make a step-up career wise.
