About the role
A detail-oriented and analytical Technology Analyst is required to support technology strategy initiatives. In this role, you will analyse industry trends, assess technology performance, and provide insights to guide decision-making and strategic planning. Your work will be pivotal in ensuring technology investments align with business goals and drive innovation.

What's Required
The ideal candidate will be a self starter with strong commercial acumen and a consultative approach. 
In addition they will have the following:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in technology analysis, business analysis, or strategy development.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and negotiation skills in dealing with key stakeholders including senior management, consultants, contractors, and committees.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with cross-portfolio teams at different levels across organisations to deliver concise, authoritative, high quality written material.
  • Familiarity with technology trends and innovations, particularly in [specific industry, e.g., software, cloud computing, etc.].
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other analytical tools.
  • Advanced technical planning skills that include defining short, medium and longer-term goals.
  • Financial management knowledge to monitor and manage technology services expenditure (including software licences, maintenance, and other recurring expenditure).
