My client is an Insurance provider enjoying significant transformation and investment into new member growth, digitalisation, and AI. To support this period of transformation and instill a progressive risk culture, the business is expanding its 1st and 2nd line Risk capabilities. This is an ideal role for an ambitious, energetic Auditor or Assurance Manager looking to transition into a business-facing Risk role. Having placed the broader team previously, we can attest to the collaborative nature of the team and the Head of Risk and CROs commitment to supporting and mentoring their team. 

Role and responsibilities include:

• Consulting to facilitate commercial decision-making within risk appetite
• Quarterly engagement with senior management on attestations and collaboration on risk incidents and breaches
• Group-wide risk reporting to the CRO and on-going improvement of reporting capabilities and metrics
• Liaise with senior stakeholders on new member strategies, system implementations and regulatory change

Background:

• Minimum of 4 years Audit, Assurance or Risk management experience within consulting or financial services/insurance
• Australian Insurance or Financial Services working knowledge
• Polished, professional demeanour with effective communication/presentation skills
• Ability to seek out and engage stakeholders face-to-face. Passionate and energetic can-do attitude is essential.
