Apply: Regional Network Provider Manager (Health Insurance)

Join a international health insurance business as Network Provider Manager , based in their Singapore office. As network provider manager you will be respoonsible for working directly with contracted medical providers to deliver best customer service.You will be the subject matter expert regarding value based reimbursement methodlogoies, healthcare delivery practices and pricing. This position has regional scope and will be required to travel minimally. We are looking to speak with experienced network provider management specialists with strong negotiation and analytical skills to take on this engaging role, working with an excellent and experienced global team.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Manages the value based provider negotiation and contracting efforts for providers.
• Performs service area analysis and cost analysis to identify network expansion, development and network renegotiation opportunities.
• Reviews, negotiates and discusses existing agreements and contracts with regards to the content (direct payment agreements, fees, pricing and procedures).
• Identifies cost containment opportunities and negotiate favorable conditions with Health care providers.
• Monitor the quality of the services provided by the medical providers and the correct execution of the agreements
• Provides expertise with regards to the agreements, fees and pricing globally.
• Promotes process improvement initiatives by identifying and successfully positioning improvement opportunities and strategies internally and with partners.
• Effectively communicates and interacts with other business units to achieve overall goals.
• Ensures that provider contracts and other data are loaded in systems timely and accurately in support of administrative and accuracy objectives.
   

Qualifications / Skills / Experience Required

• University degree required
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills are essential
• At least 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in network provider management
• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
• Analytical and critical thinking skills
• Data mining competency
• Knowledge of high priority healthcare providers, third party administrators, competitor capabilities, and healthcare systems within various countries and major markets throughout the region
• Experience in bundled payments and other value based reimbursement methodologies
