A fantastic new opportunity for an experienced Business Development focused Insurance Broker to be the first “on the ground” in Hawke’s Bay for this 100% Kiwi owner managed insurance brokerage.

Due to ongoing success in their current locations (Auckland, New Plymouth, Rotarua, Waikato, Tauranga, Palmerston North, Christchurch and Otago) they are now looking to branch out to Hawke’s Bay.

The company has been in the NZ market for over 30 years and have an existing book of business in the region already, but have a new opportunity to look after this existing book whilst growing their business and reputation.

This is an exciting opportunity to be the first in what will quickly become a local office for this growing business. Day to day you will be building strong relationships with the client current portfolio in the area whilst developing new business opportunities.

You will have the autonomy and trust to grow the book how you see fit, with the support of the owners. They will be investing into the area long term and keen to aid this person to do so with sponsorships, advertisements, events and eventually finding an office space – whatever possible to grow the brand. The business are also looking at acquiring smaller brokerage firms in the area.

To be considered you will have at least 3 years insurance experience in the Hawke's Bay area and be comfortable doing new business development. You must hold Level 5 certification.

Initially this will be 100% from home role whilst they look to acquire a new office space.
