This leading life insurance company is poised to further expand its operations. To support this growth, an immediate need for an Interim Head of Compliance currently exists for their business in Australia.

As an integral member of the leadership team and reporting to the Chief Risk Officer you will enjoy broad exposure to all elements of the business and will partner with the executive leadership team to ensure that Compliance is integrated into business operations.

Responsible for building the regulatory framework, you will influence and shape the compliance culture through a collaborative and engaging approach. As the key representative of the business with regulators and external parties, you have the opportunity to make your mark on the Australian business' compliance function.

To succeed you must have strong interpersonal skills and a proactive/autonomous working style in order to gain business trust and buy-in. This is a great working environment where you can engage on an intimate level across all business streams – an opportunity rarely available.

To be considered it is critical that you have a minimum of 10 years compliance experience gained within life insurance in Australia. This interim engagement could lead to a permanent position being offered to the successful candidate.
