About the Business:
This tier one life insurer has assets of over $31bn and has been serving customers in A/NZ since the mid 1800. The business is an in-force specialist and is still supporting a large book and supporting customers with excellent service.  
 
Responsibilities:
  • 50% technical / 50% stakeholder management
  • Monitor business performance with finance and provide joint insights into the role to monitor the performance of the organisation
  • Build and monitor processes for valuations and finance teams
  • Develop detailed insights as associated recommendations on the closed book and how to proceed
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
 
About Yourself?
  • 3+ years of exposure to Consulting or Life Insurance Industrya
  • Strong understanding of Australian Life Insurance products – particularly income protection and group risk products
  • Valuation experience is preferred but not necessary
  • Strong communications and influencing
