One of the leading International Water Technologies companies is looking for an experienced E&IC engineer to join their regional team based in Singapore as they have multiple projects ongoing and incoming. They are looking for an experienced engineer from the water/wastewater treatment background who is strong in the Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls functions to be part of their growing Singapore team working with both local and regional teams within the company. AutoCAD, NPFA 70, PLC & HMI programming capabilities is mandatory for this role.
 
Responsibilities of Senior Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls Engineer (Water/Wastewater)

• Work with other project members to design and implement specifications, designing controls systems architecture, development of PLC process code, HMI screens, SCADA systems and remote monitoring and data collection systems.
• A significant amount of on site commissioning and Factory Acceptance tests will be carried out.
• Technical skills needed in order to develop, support and manage the integrated system controls, and power and wiring solutions.
• Ability to liaise with outside vendors and purchasing in order to select and establish equipment component specifications, material take-offs, requisitions and vendor orders while coordinating cost control, project schedule and manufacturing efforts.
• Lead all aspects of electrical controls, power and instrumentation systems related to the equipment and machinery.
• Able to independently handle, come up with and troubleshoot with HMI, PLC programing, power distribution, control/signal wiring, wireless technology, cabinet/panel design, BOM and layout drawings.
• Be responsible for the design and technical support of all hardware, software, instrumentation and controls elements as part of an integrated system.

Requirements of Senior Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls Engineer (Water/Wastewater)

• Bachelor / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field with min. 8+years of experience in system controls, instrumentation and wiring.
• Water, Wastewater, Pharmaceutical, Chemical Processing or Oil & Gas systems experience is relevant.
• In-depth experience designing industrial electrical control panels, PLC and HMI programming is a must.
• Must possess in depth knowledge of Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation programmable controller hardware, automation software and AC Drives, PLC control (Allen-Bradley)
• Experience with preparing and reviewing engineering bid proposals and estimates pertaining to electrical controls and power distribution.
• Experienced in power distribution systems, circuit and load protection systems
