Strategic Investment Associate (Crypto), Singapore

Salary range: Competitive base + bonus

Role and Responsibilities:

Analyse technology, product and industry trends in digital asset space, in order to develop investment strategies and themes
Establish network within the industry to generate strong investment pipeline
Evaluate potential investment targets (early through late stage) for the firm’s strategic development, and develop investment proposals
Lead deal structuring and execution, including financial modelling / valuation, analysis, due diligence, negotiations, and closing (Corporate Finance technical skills are mandatory)
Monitor performance of investment portfolios
Create value through in-depth management, active strategic collaborations, and timely exits
Lead integration planning and implementation of acquisition targets

Requirements:

At least 3-6 years of experience in investment banking, buyside private equity, venture capital or crypto investment fund; preferably with M&A, FIG or TMT related experience. Prior experience/ some interest in digital asset / blockchain space is a plus
Strong business sense and strategic thinker
Mandatory: Able to do valuation/ DD/ financial models and investment analysis – any candidates with investment background from sell/buyside will work
Mandatory: Fluent mandarin (presentation/ speaking/ reading / writing) to deal with Chinese investors potentially
Open to relocate candidates / sponsoring EPs as long as above 2 mandatory requirements are met
