Apply: Legal Counsel (Energy)

My client is a leading player in the Energy & Renewables sector, and they are currently looking for a Legal Counsel to support their South East Asia operations.

Reporting to the Head Legal, you will be required to provide legal advice on all commercial aspects, which includes their foreign investments in the South East Asia region, managing the existing and new infrastructure/energy projects (ensuring that the projects adhere to the respective local guidelines and policies), liaising with external counsels as well as attending to other legal matters as and when required.

Requirements:

• 7+ PQE, gained from the reputable local/international law firm
• Qualified to either jurisdictions (Singapore/Malaysia/Indonesia)
• Inhouse experience gained from relevant sector will be viewed favorably
• Good problem-solving ability
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to work independently and prior experience in handling SEA projects
