Dispute Resolution Consultant - 12 month fixed-term contract (Sydney Based)

The Role

The Consultant, Dispute Resolution is responsible for the timely and quality management of disputes, contributing to trends and insights. As part of Claims Operations, the role drives improved staff, customer, financial and risk outcomes that contribute to the overall success of CTP Claims. You will be working for a well-respected company in Sydney CBD location, you will be joining a team of Dispute Resolution Consultants.

Working in a close-knit team, the primary responsibilities of the role will include:
  • Own the end to end management of formal CTP dispute processes including internal reviews, regulatory complaints, etc.
  • Optimise customer and compliance outcomes through timely and high-quality management of complaints and training/coaching of staff
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve claims practices and outcomes and lead projects as required
  • Contribute to contentious claims forums as needed
  • Working in a corporate environment responding to task management duties

Essential skills and experience:
  • Tertiary qualification/s in legal or allied health fields (ex: physiologists, occupational therapists, psychologists, chiropractors, etc.) is preferred 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in dispute resolution would be ideal, but training can be provided
  • Experience successfully interacting with and influencing senior stakeholders
  • 6+ months of exposure to claims, particularly in CTP CLaims.
  • High-level of customer service  
This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract role, with a competitive salary.
