Position                         : E&I Engineer

Report to                      : Engineering Manager

Location                        : Singapore


To ensure that the plant E&I are in the best working condition and efficacy.


Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for operation and maintenance plant electrical distribution systems (MV Switchgear, LV distribution, Emergency Diesel Generators, Power Monitoring system, MCC & VSD, Lighting, UPS etc.).
  • Responsible for developing and implementing of energy management and monitoring program.
  • Responsible for developing the standard operating procedures for instrument calibration and implementing of maintenance programs for operational efficiencies and minimize cost.
  • Evaluate root case analysis reports of major equipment and system failure and develop potential solutions.
  • Review installations and assembly documentations periodically to ensure compliance with organizational procedures.
  • Optimise the motion, functions and routes of robots and other equipment and system components.
  • Responsible for setting up the electrical work shop. & Manage vendor service contracts.
  • Preparing operation and maintenance budget. & Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Diploma/ Bachelor of Science Degree in Control & Instrumentation/ Electrical/ Chemical/ IT Engineering.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Good planning and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to organize, motivate and develop team members.
