Apply: Junior Treasury Dealer - Mandarin Speaking

This is a hands-on treasury dealing role which is responsible for daily quotation, operation and execution of clients' (corporate & institutional) financial market transactions.

 
Key Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Responsible for the Branch daily funding and investing needs through financial activities.
  • Maintain relationships with counterparties and forex departments of mainland branches in China.
  • Point of contact for all client KYC and AML compliance within Financial Markets Department.
  • Assist with liquidity risk management for the branch and client trading limit setting. 
  • Assist in the completion of internal and external reports.
  • Review and complete relevant compliance requirements of Financial Markets Department.
  • Undertake other tasks allocated by the Head of Financial Markets.
 
Qualifications
  • Familiar with Financial Dealing activities (MMKT, short term CD/CP issuance, FX (Spot, FWD, Swap), some derivatives (IRS, Options), and Fixed Income products.
  • At least one year of experience in a Treasury, Trade support or Market Operations role in Australia or China.
  • Familiar with dealing terminal use (Reuters/ Bloomberg / others); understanding Kondor+ (Misys) is a plus.
  • Bachelor degree or above in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Business and Accounting.
  • Basic knowledge of market risk practice and compliance requirements of the Treasury business. Familiarity with CNH market highly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, able to provide feedback and communicate with relevant counterparties and customers.
  • Mandarin / English speaking preferred.
