Business Development Manager, Smart Cities

The IT company specialises in the built environment sector where they provide smart cities solutions for buildings, townships, infrastructure, healthcare, transportation and logistics. The company is a subsidiary of a GLC.

Responsibilities:

Business development for new accounts and growing existing accounts
Conduct solutions and consultative selling
Take ownership of the sales cycle, bid management and submission process.
Work with cross functional teams such as solution architects, delivery, vendors and other business units to develop business value propositions, technical solutions and pricing to submit winning proposals.
Create white-boarding concepts and conducting problem discoveries sessions with customers
Develop marketing materials for BD activities

Requirements:

More than 5 years of IT sales experience especially within a SI environment
Experience selling into government sector which includes transportation, hospital, and education sectors
Experience managing more than $5mil worth of revenue within a financial year
Understands IoT technology, cloud applications and infrastructure, enterprise platforms and software products
Experience in Singapore government tender/procurement processes
Smart cities experience is a plus
