The Role: 

Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC
Duration: 12-24 month Traineeship

As a Care for Customer Specialist Trainee, you will learn to support small and medium size business customers, connecting with them via phone to understand their needs and provide transaction banking and working capital solutions.

Under the guidance of experienced mentors, your responsibilities will include:

• Respond to incoming and outgoing enquiries
• Update and maintain client files
• Escalate and delegate customer needs where required 
• Coach customers to use digital banking tools
• Recommend relevant financial products, services and solutions
• Additional administrative tasks as required 

About You:

To be successful in this traineeship, you’ll need:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to understand and meet customer needs, and be solution focused 
• Phone-based customer service would be highly regarded 
• Ability to learn and understand a wide array of products 
• Willingness to learn and take initiative 
• Genuine passion for helping business owners start up, grow and run their business 

Eligibility Criteria:

• Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
• National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
• Strong computer knowledge including Microsoft Office Suite
• Previous customer service or administration experience (highly desirable)
