Apply: Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk

Our client, a well regarded industry superannuation fund is looking for self-motivating and resourceful Senior Risk Managers / Advisors to join the 2LoD Enterprise Risk function.

Role Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) system to support the Superannuation business and its Trustee services.
  • Develop, implement and review the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and support ongoing compliance with legislative requirements (SPS220).
  • Assist with business risk profile reviews for all departments to ensure alignment to the Group’s Risk Appetite.
  • Facilitate risk workshops and provide risk advisory and oversight to the business, acting as a trusted partner to support the business in understanding and managing risks and controls.
  • Manage / support risk assurance activities, RCSA’s, incidents reporting, review and report on control design and operating effectiveness.
  • Help to conduct Risk in Change assessments to support project execution and delivery risk management.
  • Work closely with the Head of Risk and the GRC team to uplift risk capability and risk culture.
  • Prepare risk reporting, insights and escalations to management, Committees and the Board.
  • Liaise with outsourced service providers to understand supplier risks and potential impacts.
  • Coordinate with internal and external audits.

Skill Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a Risk Management / Assurance / Advisory role.
  • Hands-on experience in controls testing, risk identification,  monitoring and reporting.
  • Any knowledge of APRA Prudential Standards, Corporations Act, Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Act, Privacy Act, AMLCTF Act and other regulations pertinent to superannuation, insurance and financial services industry would be a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability of solving problems independently and making commercial decisions.
