The Role:
Our client is a dynamic, market-leading global business that has expanded its operations worldwide over the past few years, achieving significant milestones and establishing a strong presence in key international markets. Amid ongoing evolution, rapid scaling and new regulatory challenges, they are seeking a high calibre Corporate Lawyer to join their regional legal team. This role will bolster key initiatives in contracts, compliance, transactions and strategic partnerships within a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

In your new role, you will

• Review and negotiate commercial contracts in line with relevant laws and regulations
• Provide timely legal advice to business teams on general commercial and legal topics, including corporate compliance, data privacy, dispute resolutions and other regulatory issues
• Contribute to the development of company policies and procedures; provide legal training and support to different business teams
• Safeguard operations by identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risk factors in business decisions and processes
• Establish and manage relationships with external legal advisors

Requirements:

• Hong Kong qualified lawyer with 3-8 years’ PQE from in-house or straight from private practice
• Strong communication skills and business acumen
• Excellent team player, detail-minded person
• Good command of both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) for internal & external communications and engagement
