Responsibilities:

Sector focus: General, Regional focus: Southeast Asia
Participating in full origination and execution initiatives from pitch phase to closing, working with seniors and clients to execute M&A transactions
Perform financial and valuation analyses using various methodologies, including comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis and discounted cash flow DCF analysis
Build detailed financial models to evaluate performance under various operating scenarios and to analyse the impacts of different capital structures
Support the preparation of presentation materials for use in client meetings
Provide industry expertise, research and financial analysis of markets & industries based off company information, research reports and other information sources
Maintain up to date knowledge on clients and targets, keeping in the loop of sector trends, market knowledge and industry developments
Good stakeholder management, coordinating efforts with deal team members and liaise with different teams and stakeholders

Profile of Ideal Candidate:

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
0.5-3 years of relevant experience in Investment banking / IBD/ Boutique Corporate Finance advisory firms/ M&A/ Big 4 CF
Ability to perform under pressure and thrive in a high intensity environment
Team player, family culture
Strong work ethics and excellent learning / work attitude, independent and can perform without much supervision
Detail oriented with good financial analysis skills
Superior analytical aptitude, creative problem solving abilities and excellent communication skills
Analytical and numerate with basic accounting and finance knowledge
Strong problem solving skills
