Role Responsibilities:
  • Operating on the Group level as a centralised Risk function for large-scale projects, ensure all project delivered risks are appropriately considered, mitigated controls implemented.
  • Support the assigned projects with identification, oversight, ownership and mitigation of Operational Risks.
  • Identify additional risks that the project is introducing and develop appropriate controls with the business to mitigate these risks.
  • Prepare and develop business cases with business risk (functional / non-functional) analysis.
  • Support the implementation and embedding of a mature Operational Risk Management Framework to protect the business and customers.

Skill Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a Risk Manager capacity within a large, complex Financial Services environment.
  • Solid understanding risks and controls in order to effectively and efficiently support the projects delivery, as well as to manage delivery risk of the project from concept through to implementation.
  • Adept in identification of risk and implementation of appropriate controls to mitigate the risk.
  • Proficiency in translating and analysing risks at all level in a complex organisation.
  • Facilitation of business solution workshops involving participants from senior management to business users
  • A strong understanding of technology and business systems, strategically and operationally.
