AO4 Executive Legal Secretary – 8 Week Assignment

Location: Brisbane CBD
Pay Rate: $58 – $63 per hour + super
Assignment Length: Full-time until 17 October 2025

We’re seeking an experienced AO4 Executive Legal Secretary for an 8-week assignment with a high-performing legal team. This role will provide high-quality, timely executive legal secretarial and administrative support to a senior legal leader, while supervising and coordinating the work of the team’s legal secretaries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide executive-level legal secretarial and administrative support to senior legal staff.
  • Complex document formatting in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and PDF.
  • Prepare briefs, routine correspondence, agendas, minutes, and other legal materials.
  • Manage diaries, schedule meetings, coordinate travel and accommodation.
  • Maintain filing, records, bring-up, and retrieval systems.
  • Assist with billing, time recording, and processing legal expenses.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and prioritise workloads for the team’s legal secretaries.
  • Ensure client service standards are met, addressing feedback and implementing improvements.
  • Support change management and provide training on new processes as required.

About You:
  • Demonstrated experience as a legal secretary, preferably at an executive or supervisory level.
  • Skilled in managing workloads and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Strong proficiency with computerised information systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and a collaborative approach.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
