Private Equity Analyst, Singapore

Buyside, Singapore based, permanent headcount
Salary range: SGD 70,000 to 85,000 per annum base + average 6months bonus (or higher) per year
1-3 years of experience (Analyst hire)

Responsibilities would include:

Involved in the execution of every deal transaction and day-to-day operations within the firm
Full involvement in the investment evaluation and execution process
Develop financial models to forecast future performance and compute credit metrics
Conduct independent fundamental credit analysis and due diligence
Calibrate financing needs of prospective borrowers
Evaluate proposed transaction structures robustness
Prepare investment memos with investment thesis, credit risk assessments and recommendations
Teaming with third-party consultants, legal counsel, management teams, and industry sources
Facilitate meetings with internal investment committee for credit approval
Participate in various fundraising activities

Profile of ideal candidate

Preferably 1-3 years working experience in similar investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, debt financing, leveraged acquisition finance, project or structured finance, private debt, Big 4 capacity. Since it’s a junior hire, no “specific” skills needed except the usual modelling/ financial analysis experience.

Degree in any discipline, with excellent academic qualifications
Experience in managing due diligence, execution of deals and transaction documentation processes.
Good interpersonal, presentation & written communication skills
Successful candidate would be energetic, highly organized and meticulous. Attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines and several diverse work streams at the same time.
Familiar with various platforms to do business and industry information research
Positive, resourceful and a strong team player.
