Apply: Contract Administrator

The CA is responsible for the administration of professional services contracts of various types, including engagements under the NSW Government’s Performance and Management Services Prequalification Scheme (SCM0005), in accordance with legislation, policies, procedures and processes. Regular interaction with the IP Program projects team members and Commercial colleagues is required to perform the role effectively.

Key responsibilities of the CA role within the IP Program team include:
a) the preparation of contract variation documentation (e.g. Briefing Notes and Variation Letters) to obtain internal approvals;
b) notifying service providers of variations;
c) maintaining accurate records in the relevant records management system (Desksite);
d) a good understanding of the Competition Limits for flow-on engagements, in accordance with relevant Scheme Rules and guidelines is essential;
e) understanding the General and Financial Delegations and the GIPA Act;
f) entering approved variations into PMWeb to manage project and contract expenditure;
g) problem solving to collaboratively resolve issues such as timesheet and invoicing/claims processes; and
h) periodic Contractor Performance Reporting: this involves facilitating this process for the relevant project personnel to assess performance of Service Providers.

Essential Requirements
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and/or relevant work experience.

Experience working in Transport for NSW is ideal and is preferred. Good communicator (interpersonal and written), team player and excellent attention to detail essential.
