The Role:
Our client is a well-known insurance brand with global operations in over 50 countries and they provide a wide range of insurance products and services to clients around the world. Due to the recent business needs, they are seeking a qualified lawyer with in-house experience to join their legal team in Hong Kong.


In your new role, you will

• Support the Head of Legal in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a range of commercial contracts and legal documents
• Provide legal advice and training to the business teams on relevant laws and policy updates, data protection as well as other regulatory issues
• Identify legal risks and manage disputes when needed
• Assist with corporate secretarial and governance matters
• Liaise with external lawyers from time to time

Requirements

• Hong Kong qualified lawyer with around 3-5 PQE
• Previous in-house legal experience would be an advantage
• Knowledge of insurance products, laws/regulations is preferred but not a must
• Flexible, open-minded, and with strong business acumen
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese
