FutureYou is partnering with a highly regarded Xero firm based in Footscray who provide themselves on their client service delivery. With the majority of the compliance work being outsourced to the overseas team, accountants in this firm have their time freed up to provide clients with high level advisory and value ad services. This firm encourages their accountants to get out and meet their clients onsite, helping to build relationships and understand their clients’ needs.

Description

In your role, you will assist the team in reviewing the work of the offshore team, as well as providing clients with high level business advisory.

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Exposure to a variety of tax matters including GST, CGT, FBT and Div7.
• Tax planning, cashflow and forecasting
• Maintaining and building client relationships
• Attending client meetings with senior staff

Profile

Suitable candidates for this role will ideally have:

• At least 3 years’ experience working in Business Services or Tax in Australia
• CA/CPA qualified
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong work ethic and pro-active mentality
• Work effectively in a team
