Our client is a leading international brand with a strong presence in the corporate space. In light of their global footprint, they are regularly instructed to advise both domestic & international clients on a broad range of complex M&A, private equity, IPO and ECM transactions.
 
Working across a group of 4 Partners in Sydney, our client is seeking a highly motivated Corporate M&A lawyer/Associate with 2-5 PAE to join the team. With a domestic & global client base, you will be involved in advising on:

• Complex mergers and acquisitions – both public & private;
• Equity Capital Markets transactions and IPO’s; as well as a mix of
• private equity, joint ventures, corporate governance & advisory work across multiple industry sectors.

Key Requirements:

• A minimum of 2-5 PAE gained within a global, top-tier or well–regarded boutique corporate firm;
• Proven experience advising major corporates on public/private M&A deals, private equity, Equity Capital Markets transactions, & joint ventures.
• Strong drafting qualities with a clear communication style.
• Technically excellent with a strong commercial acumen.
• Relationship driven with the confidence to be client-facing when required.
