They offer new generation eCommerce solutions with technology at the core of their business. Their goal is to create and revolutionize the way people buy, sell and learn about different products. Their marketplace connects worldwide communities and ensures a robust, automated system for their users.
 
They are expanding quickly and require more creative minded engineers to help scale their applications. Together we are looking for experienced backend engineers to lead the development and help build and improve their platform.
 
This individual will be given the career path to becoming the Lead Engineer.


Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend systems
• Develop the core backend system and contribute to application architecture
• Implement new features and improve existing
• Coordinate and manage multiple cross-function teams
• Mentor and review junior Engineers
• Working with CI/CD actions and AWS

 
Requirements:

• 4-8 years’ experience in backend development using Node.JS & TypeScript (Express, Nest.JS)
• Strong experience with relational databases
• Strong experience with OpenAPI is a plus but not required
• Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS
• Familiarity with Git and version control
• Strong verbal and written communications in English is prefer, but not a requirement for internal & external communications and engagement
