Exciting Associate Finance Manager opportunity within a leading University close to Sydney Central.
 
Our client within the University sector is looking to expand their team and add a new Senior Finance member to their growing corporate finance team. This is a great opportunity for a part qualified or fully qialified finance professional to develop their financial management experience within a multi-departmental organisation with lots of change and projects coming up.  
 
The Role
This position will be a crucial support within the finance team, providing analytical insights to support the department. Responsibilities will include:
 
  • Support Senior Finance Managers and Associate Finance Directors in the development of strategic annual plans which identify the current and future key issues and needs for the client portfolio
  • Perform complex analysis and draw insights to support your client base with their strategic or operational decision making
  • Support the development of portfolio activities/budgets and undertake advanced accounting and management reporting using a variety of financial and non-financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Work closely with your client groups to identify, develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain and champion compliance with Procurement and Finance policies and procedures across client groups.

 Expectations
 The successful profesisonal must be a detail oriented finance member, with a resilient business-partnering work ethic and a drive for business improvement.
  • You will be a Part-Qualified or Fully Qualified Accountant from AU or Overseas.
  • Proven ability to provide operational financial insights, sound financial management, decision support, advice and analysis to a varied client group
  • Confident in proactive engagement with key stakeholders in the client portfolio to support the implementation of strategic transformation and change initiatives and ensure the successful implementation and realisation of key outcomes
