Apply: Test Analyst - Power BI

The purpose of the role is to plan and test Power BI Reporting changes.

To be successful you will have:
  • Demonstrated experience with Power BI Service and Power BI Desktop - E.g: ability to look at the underlying logic within Power BI for that particular report. 
  • Excel (VBA excel) Report testing
  • Demonstrated testing experience in validating Star schema Data Model & Data Marts
  • Demonstrated testing experience in SQL to query the data (Azure Platform - Synapse & SQL Server, preferably T-SQL experience)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work collaboratively and effectively within a team environment
  • Proactive - ability to identify and discuss improvements to current processes
  • Flexibility and willingness to work on a range of tasks as delegated throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ability to highlight and drive issues forward from identification through to resolution
  • Ability to assist in the preparation of testing status and risk reports
  • Ability to plan and coordinate user acceptance testing
The ideal candidate will be extremely knowledgeable in Power BI/Tableau testing and someone who is eager to learn and can communicate effectively with developers and broader project teams.
