$150k - $200k package / Up to $250k OTE (depending on level of experience)

Ethos is working with a global software company that has specialized in creating a data-driven threat intel platform that accelerates and simplifies investigations across teams and tools. They are looking for a 'Sales Engineer' in Australia ideally with a background in the SecOps and /or Threat space to help them drive their product across the APAC region.

In the position of the Sales Engineer your duties will include:
  • Building and fostering relationships with partners and customers
  • Possessing presentation-ready knowledge and product expertise on all configurations
  • Articulating and demonstrating solutions and positioning products relative to competition through presentations and/or conference call discussions to architectural groups and major lines of business,
  • Confirming that solutions meet the prospect’s requirements and assisting sales in technical qualification
  • Actively delivering presentations at high level speaking engagements
In addition to local travel in Australia, the SE may be required to travel in the APAC region and occasionally visit the businesses HQ’s located in the US.

Required:
  • Experience in a comparable sales position supporting the sales cycle in Enterprise Networking or IT Security solutions or experience supporting an Enterprise Threat Intelligence effort or comparable security operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of overall security industry trends, products and solutions, IT governance, risk management and compliance requirements
  • Experience developing applications or integrations using Python.
  • Strategic approach to technical selling with a professional understanding of customer expectations
  • Knowledgeable in one or more of the following: IDS/IPS, NGFW, NSM, SIEM, HBSS etc.
