The Company:
A top-tier asset manager who has had rapid growth in Asia over the last decade is currently seeking a compliance specialist to join their regional team of four based in Hong Kong. This presents a thrilling opportunity for mid to senior candidates with solid experience in asset management to acquaint themselves with broader corporate and regulatory compliance exposures.
 
In your new role, you will
 

• Attend to a broad range of fund products and regulatory compliance responsibilities across multiple jurisdictions
• Perform regular checking and review of investment activities, policies and procedures for compliance monitoring
• Conduct gap analysis on regulatory updates and handle relevant compliance reporting
• Assist in licensing matters for the firm as well as general corporate compliance tasks
• Respond to inquiries from business units and regulatory bodies, and conduct risk & compliance training for internal staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Law or business-related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of buy side compliance experience preferably with ETF exposures
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese
