The Investment Services team is a small-knit team that provides investment service support for public market activities.

The team is responsible for all business management functions including trade operations, custody control and asset servicing. The team works with equities, bonds, MM, FX, futures, collateralized securities and other derivatives.
As an AVP, your role is to provide business-focused investment services to enhance investment execution. You will gain a strong understanding of investment pricing, valuation, index, market and reference data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work with Data Services team to build solutions to optimize workflows and processes
• Identify operation analytics needs, collect and analyses metrics of processes and identify insights for continuous improvement
• Enhance the Data Analytics capability of department’s strategic data platform
• Work with the investment teams and technology group to provide in-business index, pricing and valuation
• Drive the transformation of existing platforms, workflows and train existing teams

Requirements

• Advanced degree in technical fields - Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Financial Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, etc.
• Possess at least 5 years of working experience in fund management, banking industry or large-scale data operation fields
• Hands-on experience in programming language (Python preferred)
• Strong experience in one or more of these areas: Data Analytics, Data Visualization, Data Acquisition, Data Creation, Knowledge Discovery from Unstructured Data, Data Cleansing and Quality Assurance
• Working knowledge of financial instruments, markets and valuation models
• Exposure to technology tools such as Tableau, BluePrism, Informatica, Dremio, Denodo will be an advantage.
