The Role:
Headquartered in Hong Kong, our client is a reputable group who has achieved great success in real estate investment and development in both local and overseas markets in recent decades. Their Group Legal Team which focuses on financial investments is now looking to hire two corporate lawyers at mid to senior level.


In your new role, you will
  • Be part of the corporate legal team, advising on a wide range of local and cross-border investment projects
  • Engage in private equities, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions transactions, which involved actively facilitating transactions by liaising with the business and investment teams and external legal counsels to structure deals, review transactional documents and manage legal issues arising in the process
  • Support business teams in their operations by reviewing and commenting on general corporate contracts and agreements


Requirements:
  • Hong Kong qualified lawyer with 5-8 years PQE from top-tier law firms or institutions
  • Open to considering junior corporate lawyer straight out of private practice
  • Able to work independently while also being a strong team player
  • Hands-on experience handling PE, M&A and JV transactions
  • Excellent legal drafting and analytical skills
  • Fluency in both English and Chinese
