Our client is a leading Australian firm with one of the most active investment funds practices in the market.  They act on a range of private debt, private equity and venture capital funds in the region.  The Investment Funds Management team provides advice throughout the funds management cycle to large corporates, banking clients, listed companies and funds, privately equity clients, financial advisers and their clients, underwriters and institutional investors across a wide range of international transactions.  Their services include:
  • Development of all documents associated with fund establishment;
  • Registered scheme constitutions;
  • Limited partnership agreements;
  • Trust deed constitutions;
  • Management agreements;
  • Custodian agreements;
  • Co-investment agreements;
  • Regulatory issues under the Corporations Act;
  • Australian Financial Services Licensing requirements.
Key Requirements:

Our client is seeking a highly motivated investment funds and M&A Lawyer with 3+ years PAE to join the team. You should be an ambitious high performer looking to work in an environment where your performance will be duly recognized and rewarded according.  In addition you will have:
  • Exposure to investment funds and M&A;
  • A desire to work on technically challenging matters;
  • Outstanding crafting and advice writing skills;
  • Superior analytical skills;
  • The ability to work effectively with clients;
  • The ability to work autonomously, and in a team environment.
