Business Analyst Lead, Treasury (Banking)

A Global bank is currently going through a Finance transformation in their Treasury business, is seeking for a seasonal Business Analyst Lead. To succeed in this role, the candidate needs to process strong treasury domain knowledge and strong change management experience.

Responsibility

To act as a business solution owner of the projects’ target state and support analysis included in relevant concept and methodology papers required for preparation of BRDs
To be accountable for ensuring that detailed requirements are documented in BRDs, and are duly signed off by relevant stakeholders
To ensure that the new solutions comply with internal procedures/ external regulatory guidelines and project deliverables are properly understood by the project team and end-users.
To validate that the strategic system architecture proposed by Technology is fit for its business purpose and is in line with the agreed business target state
To drive prioritization taking into consideration business benefits, delivery timelines, system performance, etc.
To centrally coordinate system interfaces/dependencies/change releases for business work streams and ensure alignment across all centres
Communication with the policy owners and producers of regulatory and internal risk metrics to understand their processes and to push the business perspective.
Communication with desks to understand user needs, resolve issues
To support the development of testing packs with predefined results sets
To review test cases ensuring completeness of UAT coverage
To monitor any gaps/bugs identified, and work with Technology counterparts to track progress and ensure resolution

Requirement

10+ years of functional experience in Cash & Intraday Liquidity Management and regulatory reporting - change management roles
Domain knowledge in liquidity – intraday and end-of-day FCY & LCY position forecasting, ledger vs statement real-time reconciliation, CLS and bilateral netting reconciliation, position drill-down, funding advice, SWIFT statement protocols, cash flow event & life-cycle management, etc.
Familiarity with payment scheduling, customer & business usage reporting, B3IDL reporting (BCBS239), operational & RTGS reports, MI reporting, stress testing, securities nostro, intraday collateral, sweeps, OD and compensation charges, investigation and performance management.
Familiarity with the trade life cycle, port trade processes
Ability to work collaboratively with vendors
Agile Project Methodology – with experience in creating user stories and backlogs
Business analyst experienced in change management roles, front to back delivery working experience, large scale/ migration program/ project driving experience, data analysis, full SDLC participation
Ability to write complex BRDs and multi-application FSDs
Ability to write multi-application test strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases with an expected outcome
Experience executing and supporting UAT, knowledge of SQL, defect tracking and closure
Experience with waterfall & agile methodologies
Strong communication, timely escalation, stakeholder management, prior experience conducting functional workshops and driving delivery working groups
Proactive, self-starter, autonomous & highly organised
