Our client is an expert US tax accounting firm based in Sydney. They are experiencing significant growth phase and are seeking a specialist Senior Accountant to join their incredible team.
 
Description
 
As part of the Business Advisory team, you will provide outstanding services to US and non-US citizens in relation to compliance and US tax obligations:
 
  • Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, group tax summary and loan summary for corporate and family groups including Trusts, Companies, Partnerships, Individuals & SMSF’s
  • Preparation of payroll tax returns, FBT returns, activity statements
  • Working as part of a team where you will work closely with other intermediate and senior business services accountants
  • Use of MYOB suite, Xero, Class Super
  • Liaising with clients and other external service providers
 
Profile
 
The ideal candidate will have:
 
  • 3+ years’ experience in US expatriate tax return preparation
  • IRS Enrolled Agent status
  • CPA qualification
  • Experience completing financial statements, income tax returns, business activity statements and fringe benefits tax returns
  • Experience working to a budget and meeting productivity targets
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and competing demands
  • Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills
