About the role: PETstock is seeking a full-time professional driver to operate our heavy rigid vehicle and trailer Monday to Friday.
Your daily duties will involve but will not be limited to:

Load and unload trucks, or help others with loading and unloading, operating any special loading-related equipment on vehicles and using other equipment as necessary such as forklift
Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.
Secure cargo for transport, using straps , gates , or covers.
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew as needed; check that vehicle position is correct and any special loading equipment is properly positioned.

Our PURRfect PETstock person will:

Hold a current HC Truck Licence (Essential)
Have a minimum of 2 years Driving experience (Essential)
Have previous Multi-drop experience in a similar role within Victoria
Have the ability to complete daily vehicle inspections and driver’s documentation
Bring an understanding of regulations including COR.
Demonstrate a high level of safety both on the road and in the workplace.
Have the ability to use a Smart Device for our Freight Management system
Possess a strong work ethic coupled with a good attitude and proven reliability
Be comfortable safely unloading deliveries, using a forklift at our retail stores
Keep your truck washed , clean and looking great every day
Bring a ‘Can Do’ attitude
Have the ability to work overtime as and when required including Saturdays
Hold a Forklift Driver license (Highly Regarded) or motivated to obtain one
