Apply: Senior Engagement Officer

Our client, a Leading NSW Government Department are looking for a Senior Engagement Officer to join their team in Parramatta.
The initial contract will be until the end of June 2021 with potential for an extension past this point.

Primary purpose of the role
Develop and deliver effective stakeholder and government engagement strategies and initiatives and support senior management and staff to develop communication, promotional materials and activities to assist in a new program.

Key accountabilities

• Develop and implement government stakeholder engagement strategies and approaches to meet and deliver reporting on precincts in Greater Sydney and on the Central Coast.
• Work with senior executives and officers to deliver fortnightly, monthly and quarterly reporting.
• Provide for the implementation and delivery of stakeholder engagement, including meetings, committees, programmes, responding to relevant consultations, stakeholder mapping, and support for Director.

Key knowledge and experience
Experience in supporting the development and implementation of government stakeholder engagement strategies; including face to face support, preparation of relevant materials and use of dashboard reporting.

Essential requirements
Tertiary qualifications in communication, public relations and/or equivalent demonstrated experience in positive engagement with varying government stakeholders, communities and organisations.
