Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and maintain boiler, sterilizer and washer in the hospitals as well as carry out installation work on infection control equipment.
  • Carry out all scheduled and assigned warranty, preventive, & breakdown service jobs effectively and flawlessly to aim for zero complaints.
  • Effectively plan and coordinate with customers for all service jobs to reduce time & resource wastage.
  • Responsible to plan and balance for efficacy and productivity by meeting organization goal to turnaround within 4 - 10 hours on site during working hours on weekdays.
  • Maintain proper records of equipment history by customer and department both at site and also regularly update SOM real time.
  • Efficiently prepare job sheets, seek customers approval/confirmation upon job closure, co-ordinate with SOM to invoice with correct spare parts to speed up billing processes.
  • Co-ordinate with SOM & prepare quotations for the right decision maker and track
  • Prepare and decide all quotation & track for official purchase orders for  breakdown repairs.
  • Any other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by immediate superior or management.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in medical equipment industry.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and maintain boiler, sterilizer and washer in the hospitals as well as carry out installation work on infection control equipment.
  • Prior experience of managing a small team would be a plus.
  • Healthcare experience required.
  • Possess own transport.
  • Able to travel outstation or overseas when required.
  • Able to work outside of office hours.
