The Role:

You will be supporting the team on transaction support assignments, primarily focused on due diligence and valuations. You will be exposed to a variety of challenging and stimulating work for a diverse range of ASX listed & private companies. Working with a group of forward thinking Partners & Directors you will have the opportunities to help drive the strategic direction of the corporate finance function. Key to this position will be your ability to identify opportunities, network, develop new business relationships and strengthen existing relationship whilst working on a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial due diligence reports for buy-side, sell-side and pre-lend due diligence assignments

• Assisting with Investigating Accountant’s Report assignments for capital raisings

• Preparing financial analysis to support written reports

• Assist in undertaking valuations for a range of corporate assets, including businesses, shares and securities, financial instruments and intangibles.

• Prepare purchase price allocation reports

• Assisting with Independent Expert Reports

• Undertake financial modelling and sensitivity analysis

• Prepare fee estimates and proposals for new and potential clients with the aim of winning work

• Assist in general marketing and operational activities

Qualifications/Experiences:

• Bachelors in Business/Finance/Economics

• Excellent Academic qualifications including CA and or CFA

• Demonstrate keen interest in Australian mid-market M&A and awareness of deals

• Minimum of 4 years work experience gained within Corporate finance ideally within a Mid Tier or Big 4 Chartered Firm

• Strong numerical & analytical skills with sound business acumen

• Team oriented individual with strong interpersonal & client relationship skills
