Our client is a four Partner Chartered Accounting firm in Sydney. The organisation places a huge emphasis on continued education and they provide regular, on-going, specialised training and development. They are seeking to onboard a hybrid Senior Accountant (Business Services & External Audit). Their portfolio of clients include private companies, family groups, State & National Sporting Organisations.
 
Description

Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Plan and execute audit processes on Large Proprietary Companies, Companies Limited by Guarantee, Not-for-Profit Associations, and Family Groups.
  • Preparation of financial statements (including General Purpose and Reduced Disclosure Financial Reports)
  • Direct involvement with Partner/Manager in the management of varied and professionally challenging client base
  • Liaise directly with clients
  • Mentoring and guiding junior staff
Profile
  • Minimum of 5 + years of experience in professional practice 
  • Ideally CA or CPA qualified
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and also collaboratively with the wider team 
  • Technically strong and confident using various systems 
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
