Apply: Project Manager (Health Insurance)

Join a global insurance provider - Manage and deliver key global projects for their designated partnerships. As Project Manager, you will work with the Head of Project Management and implement new market entries, products and cross market implementations together with insurance partners. You will be chiefly responsible for project reporting and governance management of in-flight projects to effectively control prioritization and resource management processes for projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain open and effective communication channels across all teams, resolving issues arising and ensuring the development and delivery of an optimal customer experience.
• Tracking of Partners progress, working with Partners to check on insurance matters such as local regulation approval, underwriting guidelines, policy wording, contracts and end to end processes for the management of insurance products.
• Management of overall project governance and reporting for the business to ensure all projects are suitably prioritized, resources and with all stakeholders fully apprised of project progress via regular reporting.
• Carry out initial assessments of any support requests to determine suitability and prioritization for Project Management team support as projects.
• Detailed scoping of deliverables relating to insurance and reinsurance matters and active management of agreed projects, carrying out regular reviews to ensure projects are kept on track.
• Documentation of business requirements and application of information systems skills / techniques to develop innovative solutions consistent with the company’s long-term strategy.
• Provide support in information systems related processes and issues; and to liaise with relevant vendors or stakeholders to address and to resolve technology related concerns.
• Carry out initial assessments of any support requests to determine suitability and prioritization for Project Management team support as projects / change requests.
• Scope agreed mini-project activities, identify a sponsor and define objectives / timelines
• Conduct regular steering and project workstream meetings with key stakeholders and escalate any critical/key issues to Head of Project Management

Key Experience:

• Possess circa 8 - 10 years of relevant experience in Insurance / Reinsurance in Project Management OR in an operations consultancy / internal change role of a Project Management team
• Bachelor’s degree in either Business Management, Science, Mathematical, Computer Science, Information Technology or Financial related discipline
• Skilled in:
  • Project and Change Management - preferably both business and IT projects
  • Insurance and reinsurance structures and knowledge of associated regulations
  • Strong knowledge of Agile project methodologies
  • Communication (all levels) and stakeholders management
  • Data Analytics
  • MS Office, end-user computing application development (also other awareness of other databases and MI extraction/production methods would be desirable)

• Good understanding of commercial practices and business processes, preferably in Financial Services (banking or insurance related) and Healthcare Services
