A global fund manager is looking for a senior Compliance Consultant for an initial 12 month contract, with a view to potential permanency in the future. As a senior member of the Australian leadership team, you will provide detailed subject matter expertise on regulatory responsilities of a leading fund manager; for example, retail management investment scheme knowledge would be ideal. In addition to supporting the Compliance frameworks, monitoring and training you will also take ownership of a crucial Financial Crime project. This is a top-tier US-based manager with high calibre traders, fast pace and an invaluable brand on your CV. A competitive daily rate over $1,000 is on offer. This role also offers a high degree of flexibility, with a 3 or 4 day week option available though not essential. 

Role and responsibilities include; 

- Work in a highly autonomous, close-knit role delivering reliable regulatory advise
- Assist in reviews and improvement of fund compliance plans
- On-going enhancement of compliance plan monitoring programs
- Impart trusted regulatory change-based training
- Maintain oversight of on-boarding and due diligence to fund investors

A minimum of 5 years Australian regulatory knowledge within a fund or investment manager is essential. Financial crime oversight will be favourably received. We seek highly polished, confident communicators who can dive into the detail, as well as provide cultural leadership.
