Head of Legal (Investment Banking/Financial)

The Role:
Reporting to the CEO, our client is looking for a Head of Legal to head up the team, focusing on the assessment, and management of legal risks for the regional operations and group. The role involves generating and reviewing in-house legal documents, including capital markets license, contracts and marketing materials, negotiating terms with clients and third-party intermediaries, and providing legal support for new projects and financial products.

Requirements:

LLB (Hons), admitted to the Singapore Bar or Commonwealth Jurisdictions
At least 10 years PQE or of relevant experience in prime brokerage, capital markets, securities, and/or derivatives. Possess knowledge of MAS Capital Markets License
ECM Investment banking experience. Strong knowledge of the Securities Futures Act and the Financial Advisers Act will be essential
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Proactive team player attitude, capable of working independently and quickly understanding various businesses.
